Yeah. Also, acts of love aren’t contingent on things, but some degree of reciprocity is needed in any relationship. If you’re want to keep hammering on someone’s door at 3 AM while in crisis for comfort and food, you do have to return that energy at some point in some form, or else eventually they’re going to start turning you away. No one can live off of all take and no give forever.

It’s the way the plants look based on a real species combined with the way it makes a line of flowers that bursts more into bloom the closer it gets to chloe–a name which i’m told has a “growth” kind of meaning
Well, the roses(Mars) grow better when taken care of, and also have thorns. These flowers seem more like a wild growth. Maybe they symbolize Chloe, and how she appreciates that Mars has not been trying to help her and just hung out?
