HFHH is going back on hiatus, but will still hit the 100-update mark this year june-to-june—they’ll just be posted closer together at a later date (just like my update schedule back in 2023, for those who remember).
I have several projects going at the moment and didn’t get them where I wanted them over the previous hiatus.
Until I get that stuff more wrangled, I’m still making HFHH comics on my usual schedule, but not posting them until later. I want to indulge in being alone with my work for awhile longer.
Or nearly alone; I may post some previews to my $20 tier on Patreon as I go. I’ve also expanded the Patreon to include all my art, not just HFHH, so updates won’t be too sparse on Patreon while I’m busy being mysterious.

the way their hair grows out over the course of the comic makes me think it represents the way they’ve diverged from their roles and tropes clair intentionally or unintentionally assigned them.
and with the scissors and cutting symbolism so prominent in the comic, i feel like a haircut would end up causing far more problems than it solves :sailors-valentine:
