I’m feeling anxious for him, not so much for him revealing the existential crisis that is Halo Head (place), but for his shattered expectations of his dear friend 🥺
Exciting that our list of characters who are not lying to themselves has dropped to the nosy dog (lying to everyone else instead) and property damage fruit bat. Clearsightedness and openness vs. denialism and isolation is such a major theme in the comic, and Achilles has always been so blunt and open about most of his thoughts and desires that he has encouraged others to favor the former as well, but I suppose ego dystonia comes for us all.
