That look of disgust in the last panel is painful. Mars clearly feels like her privacy has been violated, but Achilles doesn’t realise he’s done anything wrong. Someone needs to talk to him, but honestly, the only character who’s good at communicating with him right now is Clair, and getting her help would cause a massive cascade of all the secrets to fall about them.

Having to be truthful at all times to not break the trust people have on you but wanting to have secrets at the same time.
I understand Chloe being hurt, but I feel she is being too harsh on Mars: if she doesn’t want to talk about what she is doing with Achilles, why does she have to? Just so Chloe trusts her? Dang.
it’s not that achilles opening his mouth made things weird. it was achilles interjecting into mars’ life at all. and that was mars’ fault. but I mean I get what she means. I’m sure it would all have continued to be perfectly normal had he not said anything.
I like how achilles’ ways make him so uncompromising with things like talking about whatever. he couldn’t help but blab and it’s hard to blame him bc it’s his way. keeps things from being too convenient when they probably shouldn’t be.
pepper had reasons for talking to mars, and I dunno if he would have given a shit otherwise. but I’m glad he seems to be being effective in a therapist role at least
Pepper acts similarly towards Chloe, and he was trying to help Clair with Chloe as well. I don’t think he’s trying to talk to Mars about Achilles purely out off self interest, I think he just tries to solve people’s problems by default.
