Halo Head….Chole was the one that named our current Halo Head, as well Halo Head. We saw that naming process in that odd black void.
Yet Ares’s words here imply that the previous layers used to be named Halo Head as well…
I think the idea is, they’re processing the trauma in loops: over and over, with maybe a few changes each time — but the broad strokes of each loop remains much the same
the idea that these are all layers that, i presume, either chloe or clair (or both? is that how it works?) abandoned, only for clair to make a new one, is so. it’s sooooooo.
and ares is assuming that achilles comes from one where chloe/clair have moved on. but that’s not true.

I don’t think Ares was aware that Achilles is from the CURRENT layer. She took things like “there was only one way to go” as a joke in earlier pages
