i am rereading this comic since learning more about internal family systems and parts work in my own journey of processing trauma, and taking away a lot more than when i first read it.
something that stands out to me in this moment is: despite the way clair is so controlling, especially towards chloe, and the way that achilles apparently wasn’t intended to turn out the way he did, clair is very accepting towards achilles and his eccentricities. based on her personality, i would expect her to reject achilles for the way he deviates from her design and plan, but instead she seems to be the first character to really give him a chance to demonstrate his strengths.
All Achilles needs is to feel useful and all Clair needs is to feel appreciated!! They’re perfect and cute!!
For all his… eccentricities… Achilles is just a good dude.
despite Clair’s sometimes rancid vibes, there really is something so sweet to watch her efforts get proper appreciation:hearts::hearts:
Rereading for the thousandth time, I really hope there’s another plush run sometime, I got a job where I can afford it :pepper-1::achilles-plush:
he’s so sweettttt i need himmmm
he reminds me of my irl boyfriend
