dont have much to say about this one, but i really like the final panel visually. i love the smear effect on chloe, and how hilariously expressive clair’s face is here
also im gonna take this opportunity to state that i probably sounded overly critical of clair in my previous analyses. she is misguided and making mistakes as a result, but that doesnt mean she’s evil, or really that she’s anything other than a person who needs help… like pretty much every other character in this comic. clair’s problems are just the most immediately evident at this point in the comic
The super long pointy ears the cats had early on feel so odd now after watching the style evolve over time!
on one hand I love to interpret Halo Head as a depiction of a plural headspace. On the other hand I am saying this to Tom Nook forever.
