Oh yeah, I meant to add on: I gotta wonder where they’re gonna run for cover. Will they burst in through the lighthouse in the next entry? Ending Clair’s solitude (and making her wish she never questioned it)? Pepper’s? That would be interesting. He’s a link between the two—Chloe and Achilles. Would be interesting to see the dynamic there. Or maybe if they just hold REAL still, Peachy won’t be able to see them

Dang, look at how quickly Chloe removed the leash from her hand, swept the Peachy Fluid™ off of the plate, scooped up Achilles with the plate, and detached the leash from him, all before Peachy took off with the both of them. She’s super quick to action when she needs to be! :chloe-happy:
If Clair knew about this, I don’t know if she would be upset that Chloe got herself into this situation in the first place or proud that Chloe managed to get herself and Achilles out of the situation at record pace. Probably both.

I’m JUST noticing the parallel between Chloe and Peachy in the third panel. Chlo’s laughing like a maniac while having the audacity to call PEACHY crazy! Heck! They’re *BAAAAAAAISICALLY* making the same face!
Maybe that’s how Achilles views them right now, as similarly unhinged? Then again, I don’t know if Achilles could find similarity if you promised to hit him over the head with it.
love chloe’s energy here. completely insane love it. peachy reminds me of some kind of godzilla monster or something. I also love the motion drawings. they are a great way to condense action in the panel too
this reminds me of when chloe saved the butterfly also from peachy. if peachy is supposed to be clair’s exaggerated view of chloe in some way then I think there’s some symbolism in chloe continually saving things from peachy. doesn’t matter what her reasons actually were
