Expanding on some of the earlier comments regarding the length of Pepper’s current absence, I noticed that in between pages 175 and 370, which is 195 pages total, Chloe only appeared in 6 of them. :chloe-sit:

I noticed this, too. I saw that Chloe leapfrogged Mars in appearances last year. But I’d never have expected last January that Chloe would be nipping at Clair’s heels now.
It has been refreshing to focus on her this past year. She can be just as precious as Clair when she wants to be :chloe-happy:
yesss so glad to see that chloe is going back to pepper after all, i really hope they can work out the miscommunication that made chloe storm out in the first place. pepper likely never grasped the negative impact behind the “everythings a joke to me” statement and thus took it a little bit too literally (achilles rubbing off on him, a little?) so i definitely cant imagine he wanted to hurt chloe with it at all. excited for more 🙂
I’m legit very happy about the night mode on the website btw, I can’t wait for more day/night cycles so I can happily switch back and forth to match them lolol

Huh, I didn’t realize it was a real book. But I think the version Chloe is holding is thicker than just 8 pages.
When we saw the cover of the book a while back at Pepper’s house, it also said “and other stories” at the bottom.
I see!! I wasn’t sure if it was that or if it was just a very small version of the book with big text and full page illustrations haha
