I feel like the reason why Mars has claws and Achilles doesn’t it’s because Claire manufactured them with their personality and characteristics in mind Mars is supposed to be more of a bully to be a compatible companion with Chloe with how she dresses is naturally buff and has claws and is primarily red

i think this is him realizing what has been “taken” from him, not that he was actively declawed. he sees his lack of claws and assumes their removal would be bloody and painful, so it is. dream logic

I believe Clair just cuts up little images and that’s how things are made, so maybe she wasn’t very focused when she was cutting achilles’ outline, forgetting to make space for his little claws, and even taking some of his ear (also I’m sad we don’t have tinfoil hat emoji)
