I like how the characters are progressively getting more and more disheveled. Scruffy Pepper, scruffy (and beat up) Achilles, and now Scruffy Clair. What a world we live in. :pepper-scruffy:
It fits with the theme of marks being made that stick. Like the S on the tree chloe made, or the bit of dirt she kicked up when she first talked to pepper
Hmm, I’m wondering if previous iterations of the world the residents had trouble getting along. It seems like every time Clair has found out about some of the residents hanging out with each other (aside from Chloe and Mars) it’s caught her off guard. :clair-surprise:
Gotta say. It’s mentioned in pretty much every description of this comic, that it’s an exploration of trauma. As a trauma-haver, this comic is written just so exceptionally well. I see parts of myself in every single character, -especially- Mars. She’s basically everything I tried to bury and ended up not learning how to manage. It’s oddly therapeutic seeing how this is all playing out. Thank you for taking the time to make this.
