maybe this is why Clair is always so determined to try and force a certain way of staying busy? Chole’s usual way of finding stimulation tend towards lowkey self-destructive aims :chloe-sit:
I’m finally going through the whole thing after catching scattered bits and pieces over the years on Twitter and Bluesky, and I’m excited to experience it.
Rereading and catching up, last time I caught up was ~page 350. This time around I’m noticing Chloe actually seems to be doing a good job of keeping herself busy, just with exploring and having fun (things that keep you occupied but still give you space to think) instead of working (distracting your mind with a focused task). If Claire wasn’t so controlling it seems like bringing Chloe to Halo Head may not be the worst thing, maybe it could just be a place for Chloe to figure herself out if she wasn’t being pushed to work.

Really appreciating how you draw backgrounds in the first panel. Colorful, minimalist, yet still detailed.
