clair is so much more frantic and neurotic in these earlier pages! given what we know about the other halo head(s), she must have spent a lot of time on her lonesome in-between island before attempting to foster a proper ecosystem again – here she seems EXTREMELY concerned with being a busybody, whereas at the point we’re at in the comic now, she seems significantly more comfortable with pretty much everything and everyone . is the current halo head the most “successful” ecosystem yet? has it been active longer than the others?
