This is my first read through, but I feel like she definitely is making Chloe’s plate. Chloe finally needs something from her so in her mind it has to be absolutely perfect or it will never happen again.
[SPOILER] I think at this moment she was actually creating fan favorite troglobitic caecilian Hecatonchiros. Because he is in his own words “the ultimate life form” and his cybernetic parts, that’s why it took so much effort, but we’ll worth it :hecatonchiroshappy:
It took her all of ten minutes to make Achilles and his house, but she’s losing hours over Chloe’s plate. (Because– see BlueLily’s comment above– it has to be perfect.)
