clair’s use of “goddammit” is amusing given that she is essentially god here. it may also have a deeper meaning, showing that she is condemning herself and chloe to have a toxic relationship, condemning herself to the unnecessary and insurmountable task of maintaining an entire world, and condemning chloe into an unhealthy way of viewing her trauma (although i believe all of these condemnations will eventually be escaped)
